Girlpool’s Wanderlust ‘Gets More Blue’

Girlpool traffic in incredibly heartfelt indie rock; they stunned many listeners with their 2015 debut Before the World Was Big. The duo is set to drop their new record, Powerplant, next month on ANTI-, and today have released their new video for "It Gets More Blue." In the clip, the duo pretends to be a couple, cruising through beaches, fields and mountains. Their brand of power-pop can be both delicate and heavy at times, à la Weezer, and accordingly, the two end up at a strange tarot card party filled with masks, balloons and extreme weirdness. It's a cool watch.
