Future Islands ‘Ran’ So Far for New Video

Running, when done willfully and not to escape someone or something, is one of the most exhilarating things one can do. Clearly, no one seems to know this like Samuel Herring, lead singer of Future Islands. Today, the band released their new video for "Ran," off upcoming 4AD LP, The Far Field. In the video, Herring runs like hell through a variety of different paths, highways, forests, parks and everything in between. It matches up with the song's highly energetic pace; this is one of the danciest tracks the band has released in some time. The song winds up with Herring facing the camera, ensconced in a fire as he belts it out to the viewer.
