Ex-Cult have hit back with a new EP featuring a trio of burners that have just as much in common with the Spits as they do with the Memphis punk favorites. Before you start freaking out about lineup changes and the band getting weird, the answer is no, Ex-Cult didn't kidnap members of the Spits and absorb them into the band all of a sudden. Yet, the latest track to be released, "Double Hits," is some simple, drugged-out punk along the same lines. That's not to say the boys don't sound like themselves — just their simpler, meaner, yet still melodic selves. Turn up and rip "Double Hits" at the top of your lungs.

"Double Hits" is culled from the new EP Blurry b/w Final Exit and Double Hits, out now via Red Lounge Records. Look for it on the merch table during their upcoming tour, dates of which are below.
