Four years after putting us through a brutal Test of Submission with their last album, Dysrhythmia have returned with another ear-splitting symphony, The Veil of Control. The latest LP sees the world's most punishing triad of heavy metal veterans — guitarist Kevin Hufnagel (Gorguts), bassist Colin Marston (Krallice, Gorguts) and drummer Jeff Eber (Readyset) — powering through a fierce six-song suite that represents the platonic ideal of the trio's labyrinthine prog-metal.

As always, there are no human voices: only the screams of Hufnagel's axe, backed by Marston and Eber's hulking (and yet remarkably nimble) rhythm machine. Considering the maelstrom these three guys whip up on The Veil of Control, it's abundantly clear that they're doing just fine, thank you. Anyhow, who needs a frontman when your instruments can manage the eloquent, acerbic conversation entirely on their own?

In advance of The Veil of Control's scheduled drop September 23 via Profound Lore, CLRVYNT is pleased to offer an exclusive first listen of the whole. damn. thing, from sinister start to devilish conclusion. Stream the album in its entirety below, and pre-order it here.

Dysrhythmia's new album, The Veil of Control, is out September 23 via Profound Lore. On November 5, the band will perform at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn alongside Multicult and Cleric; more shows will be announced in the coming weeks.
