Deadaires are a Flordia post-hardcore band fronted by former Against Me! bassist Andrew Seward. The trio, which also includes former True North frontman Ryan Murphy and drummer Jeremy Rodgers, dropped their J. Robbins-produced debut album back in November. Today, they've shared a goofy video for LP highlight "New York Was a Bad Idea."

Directed by Michael Legrand and filmed in the band's home state (flights to New York don't come cheap, you know!), the clip finds Seward performing a heartfelt rendition of the song in a reconstructed Gotham, fashioned from paper buildings and presided over by a dubious Lady Liberty — and getting hit over the head with a bottle, because what's a trip to the Big Apple without some late-night fun? Watch below.

Deadaires is out now on Anxious & Angry. Get it here.
