Houston TX's Day For Night Fest came and went last week, satiating our levels of hype for the two day event. With a carefully curated lineup, attendees were exposed to a variety of different artists, sounds, and auditory experiences you wouldn't see at your usual generic mid-summer festival. There was a lot of wild shit that happened over the weekend. Like Bjork playing a strange DJ set behind a wall of potted plants. Or Aphex Twin also playing behind a big ass light wall that was some strange kind of map. Not to mention Butthole Surfers coming on 20 minutes after their scheduled time, and blew the place up. In addition to that, we also caught some killer sets by The Jesus and Mary Chain, Blood Orange, Kamasi Washington, Nothing, Mykki Blanco, Daughters, and a whole hell of a lot more.
