Cloud Nothings Welcome You to a ‘Life Without Sound’

These past couple of months, we've been extremely excited for Cloud Nothings' new Life Without Sound. They've put out some burners already, including single "Modern Act," but the whole record is full of variance. Leadoff track "Up to the Surface" features a nice arrangement of pianos and strings, and from there, you can hear some of the band's most accomplished alt-punk work — specifically "Things Are Right With You" and "Darkened Rings." It's one of the band's best records, one that won't leave your turntable for some time.
