Chromatics’ ‘Magazine’ Shows the Reality of Young Despair

Chromatics have been getting busy in the last couple weeks. Their new record, Dear Tommy, looks like it will finally see the light of day after the recent release of two music videos. On top of that, resident multi-instrumentalist Johnny Jewel has scored the upcoming Belgian movie Home. The soundtrack (due October 14 on Italians Do It Better) will contain half unreleased Chromatics and Symmetry tracks, and half original compositions.

Recently, the band dropped a video for one of those unreleased tracks, "Magazine," which features scenes from Home. You can see the mix of different cinematic techniques, from conventional cameras to iPhone shots. All in all, it looks to be an interesting film, with a kickass soundtrack to boot.
