Chain of Flowers are rising stars in the world of contemporary post-punk. After releasing an EP a year, starting in 2012, the band put out their self-titled album in 2015. The songs sounded rich, full of a real melancholy edge that was wholly complete and balanced. Today, COF dropped a new live EP consisting of their Part Time Punks session, setting some of their tracks into a unique new context. The effects and textures of "Crisis" come to life in a different way, while the romantic edge of "Chained" sounds more wistful and cool with live reverb. It's a good series of live tracks, a nice refresher before a (hopefully soon) new release.

Hear the EP below via Noisey, and catch the band on tour. Pre-order the tape before it's out this Friday on Funeral Party.
