Earlier this year, Welsh singer Cate Le Bon served up Crab Day, one of 2016's best art-rock albums. Seven months later, she's announced a new EP, Rock Pool. Arriving January 27 via Drag City, the collection apparently constitutes an act of necromancy, as evidenced by Le Bon's comments in a recent press release: "Rock Pool is the killed darlings from the Crab Day sessions brought back to life on a classic 2-2 formation. Written under the same banner of the impossibly absurd and emerging to unimaginable bedlam."

As with last April's LP, the new release finds Le Bon supported by a noteworthy cast of backing musicians: Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint, Stephen Black and H. Hawkline. The foursome crosses swords with aplomb on the freshly unveiled, whimsical title track, streaming below. Close your eyes and take a dip — and while you're at it, scroll down for the track list, plus all of Le Bon's upcoming tour dates with her DRINKS partner, White Fence's Tim Presley.

Drag City will release Cate Le Bon's Rock Pool EP on January 27. Pre-order here.
