Famed U.K. producer Burial will probably continue to be one of electronic music's most enigmatic and mysterious figures. But that's totally okay with us, as long as he continues to put out the engaging music he's known for. Take, for example, the new tracks he dropped today, "Young Death" and "Nightmarket." "Young Death" acts as the A-side of Burial's new Hyperdub 7", where he manipulates different samples, sounds and voices to make a song you find yourself sinking further and further into, deeper than you can imagine. "Nightmarket" is a deep soundscape as well, a track that feels as though you're walking in some kind of near-future space, occasionally encountering different music and sonic radiation. Both tracks do a great job of transporting the listener to new places using very different paths.
