Since their formation in 1989, the trajectory of NYC indie-punkers Boss Hog has taken a variety of sharp turns. From their early, gritty-but-pretty releases on legendary label Amphetamine Reptile to their ultra-slick 1995 self-titled LP, they've been the opposite of stagnant. This March, BH are releasing Brood X, their first full-length in 17 years, and today they dropped "17," in which frontwoman Cristina Martinez croons over a looping riff. It's an intense track, proving that there's no cobwebs.
