Baroness and Mutoid Man Team Up for ‘Purple Rain’ Cover

Certain combinations of musicians covering certain songs just make you light up, right? That's what happened when we found out that Baroness' John Baizley and Mutoid Man were joining forces to cover Prince's "Purple Rain" as part of Saint Vitus Bar comedy show Two Minutes to Late Night (which also features appearances from ex-Megadeth axeman Marty Friedman, Ice-T, Dave Hill and others). The two parties mesh well, giving a killer tribute to the late icon.
