Are Iron Monkey Back?

Iron Monkey's career as a sludge metal band was hard and fast. The Nottingham, England outfit ran for just five years, putting out two full-lengths and a live album, their uncanny heaviness existing in a "you had to be there" kind of realm. But today, that seems to have changed thanks to a new Facebook page and post. All the post said was "Hello shitheads." Reportedly, two members of the band are reclaiming the name to put out a new record; the time of release is yet to be known. Vocalist Johnny Morrow suffered a heart attack in the summer of 2002, so the identity of whoever might be singing is still a mystery.
